Clifford Chance announces the promotion of Petr Šebesta to Counsel

The Prague office of Clifford Chance is pleased to announce the promotion of senior tax advisor Petr Šebesta to Counsel. The promotion came into effect on 1 June 2019. This is a significant achievement and reward for the unwavering dedication Petr has shown to the firm since joining Clifford Chance in 2010. The status of Counsel has been developed within the firm to recognise excellent contributions by senior associates and their potential for partnership.

Petr graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University and the University of Economics in Prague and obtained his LL.M. at Vienna University of Economics and Business (focused on International Tax Law).  He has advised on major transactions and has a considerable and recognised expertise especially in tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, including IPOs and structured finance products, and also complex real estate transactions.

Petr has been regularly recognized as a leading tax lawyer on the Czech market in relevant high-profile legal directories.
