Clifford Chance announces new senior management team for Luxembourg office
Clifford Chance has announced a new office Managing Partner and the creation of a new office Senior Partner role for its Luxembourg office. Steve Jacoby will assume the role of Luxembourg Managing Partner, beginning his four year term in May 2019. Steve succeeds founding Luxembourg Managing Partner Christian Kremer, who will work closely with Steve to ensure a smooth transition. Christian will take on the new Luxembourg Senior Partner role and continue to support the development and growth of the firm both in Luxembourg and internationally and spend more time with clients.
Steve joined Clifford Chance in 2000, making partner in 2002. He co-heads Clifford Chance's Luxembourg banking, finance and capital markets practices, advising on a wide range of issues.
Christian joined Clifford Chance as founding Luxembourg Managing Partner since the merger in January 2000. Acting mainly for banks and other financial institutions, he also heads the firm's Luxembourg corporate and capital markets practices. Christian will continue to play a key role in the Luxembourg office and to represent the firm in the market.

Clifford Chance a le plaisir d'annoncer la nomination de Steve Jacoby en tant que nouveau Managing Partner du bureau de Luxembourg avec effet au 1er mai 2019 pour un mandat de 4 ans. Steve Jacoby succèdera à Christian Kremer, actuel Managing Partner et fondateur du bureau de Luxembourg après une phase de transition. Christian assurera la nouvelle fonction de Senior Partner à Luxembourg et continuera à soutenir le développement et la croissance du cabinet, tant au niveau local qu'international tout en continuant à se consacrer aux clients.
Steve a rejoint Clifford Chance en 2000, et a été promu associé en 2002. Il co-dirige les pratiques banking, finance et capital markets du bureau de Luxembourg, et conseille les clients dans des domaines variés de droit financier et droit des sociétés.
Christian a rejoint Clifford Chance suite à la fusion réalisée en janvier 2000 en tant que Managing Partner et fondateur du bureau de Luxembourg. Agissant principalement pour des banques et autres institutions financières, il est également à la tête des pratiques corporate et capital markets. Christian continuera à jouer un rôle clé au bureau de Luxembourg et à représenter le cabinet sur le marché.
A l'occasion de sa nomination en tant que Managing Partner à Luxembourg, Steve a déclaré : "Je suis honoré d'assumer ce rôle de Managing Partner. Ayant rejoint le bureau en 2000, j'ai pu participer au développement de ce dernier depuis ses débuts.
