Clifford Chance Prague elects a new Counsel

The Prague office of Clifford Chance is pleased to announce the promotion of a senior corporate associate to the position of Counsel with effect from 1 May 2018. This is a significant achievement and reward for the unwavering dedication Michal Jasek has shown to the firm since his arrival in 2005.

After graduating from the Law and Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University, Olomouc, in 2003, Michal Jašek joined Clifford Chance in 2005, following a year and half spent as a junior lawyer at a Czech-German law firm in Prague. He was admitted as an advocate in the Czech Republic in 2007 and completed an LL.M. at the Law Faculty of the University of Sydney, Australia, in 2010.

In terms of his legal practice, Michal specialises in corporate and commercial law and has extensive experience on a wide range of cross-border M&A transactions. An active member of Clifford Chance's global Healthcare, Life Sciences & Chemicals sector team following a successful secondment to Clifford Chance's Düsseldorf office in 2013, Michal now also spearheads the Prague office's Technology Sector Group.
