Clifford Chance advises Quantum on the acquisition of 'Adlerwerke' in Frankfurt
Clifford Chance has advised Quantum on the acquisition of the iconic office complex 'Adlerwerke' in Frankfurt, Germany.
Quantum acquired the property on behalf of a consortium of its German institutional investors. The seller is PGIM Real Estate, the real estate manager of investment company Prudential Financial.
'Adlerwerke' is approximately two kilometres west of Frankfurt’s prime central business district in the upcoming city district of Gallus, which benefits from ongoing residential construction activity. The office campus comprises five buildings with a total lettable area of about 80,000 square meters, and is well-known for its historic brick buildings from the early 20th century. The buildings were fully refurbished and complemented by new buildings in 1997 and 1998. Deutsche Bahn AG and Wunderman are two long-term occupants at the fully leased property.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat Quantum beim Erwerb der historischen Adlerwerke in Frankfurt am Main beraten.
Quantum erwirbt den Bürokomplex für ein Konsortium institutioneller Investoren aus Deutschland. Verkäufer ist PGIM Real Estate, der Immobilienmanager des Investment-Unternehmens Prudential Financial.
Die Adlerwerke befinden sich etwa zwei Kilometer westlich des zentralen Geschäftsbezirks von Frankfurt, im aufstrebenden Stadtteil Gallus, der aktuell von einem starken Wohnungsbau profitiert. Das aus fünf Gebäuden bestehende Büroensemble ist insbesondere für seine historischen Backsteingebäude aus dem 20. Jahrhundert bekannt. Die Gesamtmietflache beträgt rund 80.000 Quadratmeter. Die Gebäude wurden in den Jahren 1997 und 1998 vollständig renoviert und durch Neubauten ergänzt. Die Adlerwerke sind vollständig vermietet, unter anderem an die Deutsche Bahn AG und das Marketingunternehmen Wunderman GmbH.
