Clifford Chance advises Natixis and KB Insurance on an infrastructure and aviation co-investment agreement
KB Insurance Co., Ltd. and Natixis S.A. have signed a partnership agreement to co-invest in infrastructure and aviation debt originated by Natixis.
Under the terms of the agreement, signed on Monday 11th April 2016, KB Insurance targets to invest USD 400 million over three years into this asset class.
This is the fifth such agreement signed by Natixis with institutional investors across Europe and Asia, as part of the bank’s pioneering model to open the infrastructure and aviation debt asset class to non-bank financial institutions on a large scale. It demonstrates the increasing financing disintermediation.

KB Insurance Co., Ltd et Natixis S.A. ont signé un accord de partenariat pour co-investir dans la dette d'infrastructures et d'aviation.
Selon les termes de l'accord, signé le lundi 11 avril 2016, KB Insurance vise à investir 400 millions de dollars sur trois ans dans cette classe d'actifs.
Il s'agit du cinquième accord signé par Natixis avec des investisseurs institutionnels en Europe et en Asie. Il s'inscrit dans le cadre du modèle pionnier de Natixis d'ouvrir à grande échelle ces catégories d'actifs aux institutions financières non bancaires, et démontre plus généralement la désintermédiation croissante de ces financements.
