Clifford Chance has advised the CCP IV fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners on its acquisition of the Garden Tower in Frankfurt.
The building, also commonly known as the Helaba building, offers 27,500 square metres of lettable space and is occupied by a number of different tenants. The Garden Tower was one of the first high-rise buildings in Frankfurt's banking district and was completely renovated between 2003 and 2005, reopening in 2006. The building was completely redesigned, with a brand new interior, new technical systems and a glass façade. The tower is around 126 metres high, with 27 floors and five basement levels. The building was awarded a "very good" BREEAM green building rating after it reopened in 2006. It houses the German headquarters of Société Générale on floors 11 to 16, with the second large tenant being Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den von Tristan Capital Partners beratenen Fonds CCP IV beim Erwerb des Garden Tower in Frankfurt beraten.
Das als Helaba-Hochhaus bekannte Gebäude umfasst rund 27.500 Quadratmeter Mietfläche und wird von mehreren Mietern genutzt. Der Garden Tower war eines der ersten Hochhäuser im Frankfurter Bankenviertel, wurde aber zwischen 2003 und 2005 komplett umgebaut und im Jahr 2006 wiedereröffnet, nachdem es entkernt und anschließend mit einer neuen Innenausstattung sowie mit moderner Gebäudetechnik und einer neuen Glasfassade versehen worden war. Das Gebäude ist rund 126 Meter hoch und umfasst 27 oberirdische und fünf unterirdische Stockwerke. Bei seiner Wiedereröffnung im Jahre 2006 erhielt der Garden Tower eine Green-Building-Zertifizierung nach BREEAM mit der Note „Sehr gut". Die Immobilie dient der Bank Société Générale, die die Etagen 11 bis 16 gemietet hat, als deutscher Hauptsitz. Zweiter großer Mieter in dem Objekt ist die Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG.
