Clifford Chance advises Union Investment on the sale of pan-European real estate portfolio to Amundi Immobilier
Clifford Chance advised Union Investment on the sale of the EUR 1 billion pan-European "Aqua" portfolio to Amundi Immobilier.
The deal constitutes one of the largest European portfolio sales of the year. The purchase agreement for the "Aqua" portfolio is subject to the usual closing conditions, with transfer of the portfolio to Amundi expected in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The"Aqua" portfolio comprises 17 office properties with around 278,000 square metres of rental space in six Western European countries, with a 75% focus on the UK (London, Glasgow, Cardiff), France (Paris) and Germany (Ismaning, Ratingen, Frankfurt/Main). The properties generate annual gross rental income of around EUR 60 million. At the time of sale, 96.6% of the space was let (based on rental income). The properties sold include the "Duetto Business Park", Helsinki, "Nord 1" in Frankfurt’s Europaviertel district, and "Westferry Circus" in Canary Wharf, London.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat Union Investment beim Verkauf ihres paneuropäischen Immobilienportfolios "Aqua" im Wert von rund 1 Milliarde Euro an Amundi Immobilier beraten.
Es handelt sich um eine der größten europäischen Portfoliotransaktionen des Jahres. Der Kaufvertrag für das „Aqua“-Portfolio steht noch unter dem Vorbehalt der Erfüllung der üblichen Closing-Voraussetzungen. Der Übergang an Amundi wird für das 4. Quartal 2015 erwartet.
Das "Aqua"-Portfolio umfasst 17 Büroobjekte mit rund 278.000 Quadratmetern Mietfläche in sechs westeuropäischen Ländern mit einem Schwerpunkt von rund 75 Prozent auf Großbritannien (London, Glasgow, Cardiff), Frankreich (Paris) und Deutschland (Ismaning, Ratingen, Frankfurt/Main). Die Objekte erwirtschaften einen Jahresbruttomietertrag von rund 60 Millionen Euro. Die Vermietungsquote nach Mietertrag liegt zum Verkaufszeitpunkt bei 96,6 Prozent. Zu den Verkaufsobjekten des „Aqua“-Portfolios gehören unter anderem der „Duetto Business Park“ in Helsinki, „Nord 1“ im Frankfurter Europaviertel und „Westferry Circus“ in Canary Wharf/London.
