Clifford Chance welcomes litigation partner Dirk-Jan Duynstee from Spigt Litigators

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance welcomes Dirk-Jan Duynstee into its litigation & dispute resolution practice in Amsterdam. Dirk-Jan will join the practice as a lateral partner from Spigt Litigators (formerly Spigthoff) on 1 December 2012.

Dirk-Jan Duynstee specialises in corporate and securities litigation, including post M&A disputes, public take-over disputes, shareholder disputes and squeeze out proceedings, and has experience in general commercial litigation. After having worked as a management trainee at VNU, Dirk-Jan worked for Clifford Chance between 2003 and 2006 (Corporate and Finance & Capital Markets practices). In 2006 he joined Spigthoff where he became a partner in 2010. Duynstee graduated in 2000 with a Dutch law degree from the University of Utrecht and he passed a post academic course at Grotius Academy in 2010. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Corporate Litigation (VCL) and the Dutch Association of Securities Law (VVER).
