China's 19th Party Congress - What does this mean for businesses and financial markets in China

The recently concluded 19th Session of the National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) (19th Congress) is a milestone event, as it mapped out China's longer term policy objectives, including:
- eliminating poverty in rural areas by 2020
- becoming a "moderately prosperous society" in China by 2021, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC
- becoming a "great modern socialist country" by 2049, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China
