U.S. national bank regulator seeks support for amending Volcker Rule regulations

The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has issued a notice soliciting public input on key aspects of the implementing regulations for Section 13 of the U.S. Bank Holding Company Act (commonly known as the "Volcker Rule"). This regulatory action represents an important step toward implementing a number of reform recommendations included in a June 2017 report issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The comment period will be open until September 21, 2017.
