Clifford Chance advises on Axera Semiconductor's IPO and listing in Hong Kong
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised the joint sponsors CICC, GTJA and BOCOM and the underwriters on the initial public offering and listing of Axera Semiconductor Co., Ltd. on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, raising approximately US$379 million.
Chair of China Practice and partner Tim Wang co-led the transaction with partners Fang Liu and Virginia Lee with support from counsel Erxin Lu, senior associate Astrid Zhuang, associates Cathy Qian, Lawrence Yue, Shi Ke, Anna Ding and Julie Luo and trainee solicitor Catherine Xu.
Axera Semiconductor provides artificial intelligence (AI) inference systems-on-a-chip (SoCs) which delivers high-performance perception and computing platforms for edge and endpoint AI applications. At the heart of Axera Semiconductor's capabilities and SoC offerings is the Axera Neutron, a mixed-precision neural processing unit (NPU) which is specialized in processing architecture that delivers improved AI inference efficiency through advanced mixed-precision computing. Complementing the mixed precision NPU is Axera Proton AI-ISP, the world's first commercially scaled AI-enabled image signal processor.
Clifford Chance has advised on the listings of several chip companies in China, including Montage Technology, GigaDevice and Black Sesame.

国际律师事务所高伟绅就爱芯元智半导体股份有限公司 (“爱芯元智半导体”) 的首次公开发行及香港联合交易所主板上市，为联席保荐人及整体协调人中金公司、国泰君安国际及交银国际，以及承销商提供法律服务。本次发行募集资金约3.79亿美元。
