Clifford Chance advises Vitruvian Partners on its investment in Thunes
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Vitruvian Partners on its participation, alongside Apis Partners, in the $150 million Series D funding round of Thunes, a Singapore-headquartered global cross-border payments company.
Thunes operates a real-time payments network spanning more than 130 countries and plays a pivotal role in driving financial inclusion and seamless cross-border transactions. This funding round will support Thunes as it continues to scale its global network, expand its product offering and accelerate its growth in key markets.
Neil Evans and Tom Lin led the Clifford Chance cross border team and were supported by Caitlin Hagart, David Ho, Ruth McAteer and Denzyl Ang, alongside members of Clifford Chance's Regulatory and Compliance teams.
