Clifford Chance advises Banco Bradesco on US$750 million notes offering
Global law firm Clifford Chance has advised Brazil's Banco Bradesco on the issuance and offering of US$750 million 6.5% notes, which mature in 2030. The notes were issued through Banco Bradesco's Grand Cayman branch under its US$10 billion Global Medium-Term Note Program.
Counsel Anja Pfleger Andrade said, "we are pleased and proud to bring our depth in capital markets and work with Banco Bradesco on this transaction."
Partner Anthony Oldfield and staff attorney Pedro Henrique Menegat worked with Pfleger Andrade on advising Branco Bradesco on this transaction.
Clifford Chance advises on many offerings in the Latin American market, recently advising Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. (Eletrobras), with the issuance of US$750 million notes, which was the first issuance of an 'infrastructure bond' in the international markets. Clifford Chance also advised Brazil's Sabesp on its US$2.7 billion international shares offering, and Eletrobras on the secondary follow-on offering of preferred shares issued by CTEEP – Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista, in an aggregate amount of R$2.19 billion (US$398 million), as well as Eletrobras' privatization which was conducted through a US$6.9 billion equity offering in 2022.
