Clifford Chance advises banking syndicate on successful EnBW bond emission with a total volume of EUR 1.25 billion
Clifford Chance has advised a banking syndicate comprising BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, BayernLB, BBVA, ING, SEB and SMBC on the successful emission of two corporate bonds of EnBW International Finance B.V. with a total volume of EUR 1.25 billion.
The first tranche with a term of 5.5 years has a nominal value of EUR 500 million and a 3.500% coupon. The second tranche with a nominal value of EUR 750 million has a term of 12 years and a 4.000% coupon. Investor demand was high and the emission produced orders of some EUR 3 billion.
The bonds are guaranteed by EnBW Baden-Württemberg AG. They are admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg stock exchange.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat ein Bankenkonsortium bestehend aus BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, BayernLB, BBVA, ING, SEB, SMBC bei der erfolgreichen Emission von zwei Unternehmensanleihen der EnBW International Finance B.V. mit einem Gesamtvolumen von €1,25 Milliarden beraten.
Die erste Tranche mit einer Laufzeit von 5,5 Jahren hat einen Nennwert von €500 Millionen und einen Kupon von 3,500 %. Die zweite Tranche mit einem Nennwert von €750 Millionen verfügt über eine Laufzeit von 12 Jahren und einen Kupon von 4,000 %. Die Emission traf auf eine hohe Nachfrage der Investoren mit einem Orderbuch von rund €3 Milliarden.
Garantiert werden die Anleihen durch die EnBW Baden-Württemberg AG. Sie wurden zum Handel am regulierten Markt der Luxemburger Börse zugelassen.
