Clifford Chance advises Banco Sabadell on a EUR 20,000,000 project financing of Forestalia's "El Coto" windfarm
Clifford Chance has advised Banco Sabadell on the financing of the construction of "El Coto" windfarm, sponsored by Forestalia group, for a total amount of EUR 20,000,000. In the context of the financing of this 21 MW windfarm located in the Spanish region of Aragón, a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) was entered into with GE Renewable Energy.
The multidisciplinary Clifford Chance team advising Banco Sabadell was led by Partner José Guardo, with the support of project finance associates Gabriel Miranda and Claudia de Olaran.
The core team was assisted by associates Ángel Muñoz regarding derivatives, Carlos Carrera for Tax matters, Mónica Romero regarding regulatory matters and Clara Ortells in relation to Real Estate matters.
