Clifford Chance advises PATRIZIA on the sale of a residential real estate portfolio
International law firm Clifford Chance has advised real estate investor PATRIZIA on the sale of a portfolio of 22 residential properties. The portfolio comprises a total of 1,336 homes across 14 German cities. The properties were acquired by P&P Gruppe GmbH and Ampega in two independent transactions.
With the sale, PATRIZIA is refocusing its fund's portfolio: In the future, the focus will be on larger, more sustainable properties in locations that are more affordable or that are underpinned by significant future growth potential. This includes high-growth locations outside of Germany, such as the Netherlands, Denmark, Scandinavia, Ireland, France, Spain and Italy.
The Clifford Chance team comprised partner Fabian Böhm, associate Magda Pawela-Häusler and legal support assistant Manfred Fisch (all Real Estate); partner Dominik Engl and associate Laura Lamster (both Tax) as well as partner Stefan Bruder and senior associate Margret Bootz-Hagen (both Corporate/M&A, all Frankfurt).

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den Immobilieninvestor PATRIZIA beim Verkauf eines Portfolios von 22 Wohnimmobilien beraten. Das Portfolio umfasst insgesamt 1.336 Wohnungen in 14 deutschen Städten. Erworben wurden die Objekte von P&P Gruppe GmbH und Ampega in zwei voneinander unabhängigen Transaktionen.
Mit der Veräußerung richtet PATRIZIA ihren Fonds neu aus: Der Schwerpunkt liegt künftig auf größeren, nachhaltigen Immobilien an bezahlbaren Standorten, die aufgrund ihrer demographischen und sozioökonomischen Entwicklung Wertsteigerungspotenzial bieten. Dazu zählen auch wachstumsstarke Standorte außerhalb Deutschlands, wie die Niederlande, Dänemark, Skandinavien, Irland, Frankreich, Spanien und Italien.
