Healthcare Real Estate: Clifford Chance advises Primonial REIM on acquisition of nursing home property portfolio

International law firm Clifford Chance has provided legal and tax advice to French asset manager Primonial Real Estate Investment Manager (Primonial REIM) on the acquisition of a portfolio of eight German properties from nursing home group DANA-SAREC.

Primonial REIM acquired the properties through a sale-and-lease-back transaction and in this context entered into long-term lease agreements for the operation of the nursing homes with DANA-SAREC, a large private operator of nursing homes and retirement homes in Northern Germany.

France-based Primonial REIM is one of Europe's leading asset managers for health and education properties, developing, structuring and managing real estate investment solutions for individual and institutional investors. Primonial's total investment volume of over 21 billion Euro includes German real estate property with a focus on nursing homes and clinics as well as hotels and retail.

Clifford Chance regularly advises Primonial on its major investments.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den französischen Vermögensverwalter Primonial Real Estate Investment Manager (Primonial REIM) beim Erwerb eines Portfolios von acht deutschen Immobilien von dem Pflegeheim-Konzern DANA-SAREC rechtlich und steuerlich beraten.

Primonial REIM erwarb die Immobilien durch eine Sale & Lease-Back-Transaktion und vereinbarte in diesem Rahmen langfristige Mietverträge für den Betrieb der Pflegeheime mit DANA-SAREC, einem großen privaten Betreiber von Pflegeheimen und Seniorenresidenzen in Norddeutschland.
