Clifford Chance advises Cubico Sustainable Investments on the acquisition of an onshore wind development business in France
Cubico Sustainable Investments (Cubico), a leader and global investor in renewable energy, has acquired an onshore wind development business in France from InControl SA and Biorganotec bvba. The development portfolio, which is around 200 MW and comprises more than 10 projects, is spread out across France.
As a result of the acquisition, Cubico’s presence in the French market is now fully established and the company is looking to build its business in the country around this portfolio.
Clifford Chance advised Cubico on this transaction with a team consisting of Laurent Schoenstein, partner, and Katerina Drakoularakou, associate, on the corporate aspects, as well as Cécile Zoro, counsel, and Wassilla Kameche, associate, on the employment law aspects.

Cubico Sustainable Investments (Cubico), leader et investisseur mondial dans le secteur des énergies renouvelables, a acquis un portefeuille de projets en développement d'éolien terrestre en France auprès d'InControl SA et de Biorganotec bvba. Le portefeuille de projets en développement, d'environ 200 MW et composé de plus de 10 projets, est réparti sur tout le territoire français.
A la suite de cette acquisition, Cubico est désormais pleinement implanté sur le marché français et a pour ambition de développer son activité dans le pays autour de ce portefeuille.
