In 2020, for the eighth year running, Marc Bartholomy has taken 1st place in the Legal Services section of the Top 100 CRE Market Makers rating. The rating, issued by Commercial Real Estate magazine and covering real estate market leaders in development, investment, property management and leasing, as well as legal and financial advisory, is a well-deserved testament to Marc's expertise, diligence and standing in the market.

Notwithstanding the challenging business environment of 2019 and the unpredictable landscape caused by the events of the first quarter of 2020, Marc and his team continued to support their key clients around the globe and win new mandates. The key deals in the 2019-2020 portfolio are considered by experts to be the largest office and retail real estate transactions in the Russian market: advising Metrika Investments on the acquisition of the office part of Neva Towers, and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund on the sale of a 49% share in the Galeria Shopping Centre.

Marc began his career at Clifford Chance in 1994 (Frankfurt office). Since 1999 he has been a partner of the Moscow office.
