Clifford Chance advises underwriters on Velocity Financial IPO

Clifford Chance advised the underwriters Wells Fargo Securities, Citigroup, JMP Securities and Raymond James on the IPO of Velocity Financial Inc. (NYSE: VEL). The IPO closed on January 22, 2020.

Velocity Financial is a vertically integrated real estate finance company that primarily originates and manages investor loans secured by 1-4 unit residential rental and small commercial properties.

The deal team was led by partners Andrew Epstein and Jason Myers and included associates Lane Feler and James Kruger.
