Clifford Chance advises on Bank of Guizhou's IPO
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Bank of Guizhou Co. Ltd. on its HK$5.456 billion (US$700 million) initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Bank of Guizhou is a leading commercial bank in China's fast-growing Guizhou province. With an extensive distribution network covering the entire province, it provides banking and financial services aligned with the province's economic development.
China-Co-Managing Partner Tim Wang led on the deal together with partners Fang Liu and Tianning Xiang. They were supported by a team which also included counsel Corey Zhang and Lorna Lyu, and senior associate Gehuan Liu.
Tim said, "We are proud to advise Bank of Guizhou on their listing in Hong Kong, demonstrating our expertise and continued commitment to the banking sector."
This transaction is the 15th listing of the year by the firm's market-leading Greater China IPO team in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
