Clifford Chance advises Shinhan Alternative Investment on acquisition of Amazon logistics centre in Rheindahlen, Germany
International law firm Clifford Chance has advised a fund managed by La Francaise Real Estate Partners International and by Shinhan Alternative Investment Management Inc. on the acquisition of the Amazon logistics centre in Rheindahlen near Mönchengladbach, Germany, by the South Korean financial services provider Samsung Securities, from Germany-based logistics property developer Ixocon. The acquisition was executed in a share deal on an off-market basis.
The three-storey storage and office property with a total floor area of around 150,000 square meters has been completed in July and is leased to Amazon on a long-term basis. Rheindahlen is a centre of the logistics industry in Germany.
The international Clifford Chance team advising Shinhan acted on both the acquisition and the financing of the transaction. Der Erwerb erfolgte als Off-Market Share Deal. Verkäufer ist der Logistikimmobilien-Entwickler Ixocon.
Die im Juli fertig gestellte dreigeschossige Lager- und Büroimmobilie mit einer Gesamtfläche von rund 150.000 Quadratmetern ist langfristig an Amazon vermietet. Rheindahlen ist ein Zentrum der Logistikbranche in Deutschland.
