KPMG executive joins Clifford Chance management team
Clifford Chance welcomes Oliver Krappe (52) to its German management team. He joins the firm from KPMG AG, where he held the position of COO Markets & Operations Services since 2013 and was in charge of the strategic management of the marketing, sales, operations, procurement and IT teams. He will start in his new role at Clifford Chance at the beginning of October. Prior to joining KPMG AG, he worked for a number of firms, including Boston Consulting Group, Bankhaus Metzler and Nokia. Oliver studied economics and also has the following qualifications: MBA (Paris), Manager (Harvard) and Marketing Expert (Fontainebleau).

In a strategic market offensive, Clifford Chance have been enhancing its advisory and related services since 2018. In addition to new partners recruited from within the Firm, such as Stefan Bruder (Corporate/M&A), Dr. David Pasewaldt (White Collar), Dr. Ines Keitel (Employment) and Dr. Kristina Jaeger (Real Estate), the Firm has also been able to attract outstanding lateral hires: Christine Gärtner (Litigation), Philipp Klöckner (Capital Markets), Dr. Michael Dietrich (Antitrust), Steffen Schellschmidt (Banking and Finance), Dr. Moritz Keller (Litigation & Dispute Resolution), Dr. Thomas Voland (Public Law) and Dr. Markus Stephanblome (Corporate/M&A), who bring a vast variety of in-depth knowledge and experience to further enhance the Firm’s strengths. Business Services departments such as Business Development, HR and Marketing & Communications have also been strengthened in terms of both quality and number of staff.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance verstärkt ihr deutsches Führungsteam mit Oliver Krappe. Der 52-jährige Manager kommt zum Oktober von der KPMG AG, wo er seit 2013 als COO Markets & Operations Services für die strategische Ausrichtung der Bereiche Marketing, Vertrieb, Operations, Vergabe und IT verantwortlich war. Vorherige berufliche Stationen umfassten die Boston Consulting Group, das Bankhaus Metzler und Nokia. Oliver Krappe ist studierter Betriebswirt und hat Zusatzqualifikationen unter anderem als MBA (Paris), Manager (Harvard) und Marketingspezialist (Fontainebleau) erworben.
