Clifford Chance advises Warburg-HIH Invest on the purchase of a new office building in Dusseldorf's Airport City
Clifford Chance has advised Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate on its acquisition of a new office building at Dusseldorf Airport as part of a forward deal. The building is being sold by Dragon Bauprojekt GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Red Dragon Holding GmbH.
The SHIFT building located in the "Airport City", designed and under construction by Dragon Bauprojekt GmbH, offers a total lettable area of 6,370 m² and is due to be added to the portfolio managed by the Deutschland Selektiv Immobilien Invest fund, an open-ended special AIF. The new property is fully let to a single tenant, an international tax consultancy firm, on a ten-year lease. The building is due to be completed and the deal closed in summer 2020. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details of the purchase price.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate beim Erwerb eines Büroneubaus am Düsseldorfer Flughafen im Wege eines Forward-Deals beraten. Verkäufer ist die Dragon Bauprojekt GmbH, eine 100-prozentige Tochter der Red Dragon Holding GmbH.
Das in der Airport City gelegene SHIFT, ein von der Dragon Bauprojekt GmbH geplantes und derzeit errichtetes Bürogebäude, hat eine Gesamtmietfläche von 6.370 Quadratmetern und soll in das Portfolio des offenen Spezial-AIF Deutschland Selektiv Immobilien Invest eingebracht werden. Der Büroneubau ist auf zehn Jahre vollständig vermietet, einziger Mieter ist eine international tätige Steuerberatungsgesellschaft. Die Fertigstellung und damit auch der Vollzug der Transaktion ist für Sommer 2020 geplant. Über den Kaufpreis haben die Parteien Stillschweigen vereinbart.
