Clifford Chance advises Macquarie on the proposed investment by PGGM in Macquarie AirFinance
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance is advising Macquarie Group Limited ("Macquarie") on the proposed investment by PGGM Infrastructure Fund ("PGGM") in a 25% stake in Macquarie AirFinance.
Macquarie AirFinance was established in 2006 and has evolved to become a leading and successful player in the aircraft operating lease industry, with a portfolio at March 2019 of 196 aircraft and 60 aircraft orders. Macquarie and PGGM have agreed that PGGM will take a 25% interest in Macquarie AirFinance, which represents PGGM's first investment in the aircraft leasing sector. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
