Clifford Chance advises BlackRock on the sale of the Lyoner Stern office complex in Frankfurt
Clifford Chance has advised BlackRock on the sale of the "Lyoner Stern" office building in Frankfurt as part of an asset deal.
The property, located in the Niederrad district of Frankfurt and completed in 1983, offers around 28,000 m² of floor space. Niederrad is home to Frankfurt's largest back office district. In recent years, it has undergone a major transformation from an office/commercial area to a mixed-use district with a large share of residential properties. The vacancy rate has dropped by around 30% since 2016. BlackRock has held the property as part of its European value-add strategy.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den Vermögensverwalter BlackRock beim Verkauf des Bürogebäudes "Lyoner Stern" in Frankfurt am Main im Wege eines Asset Deals beraten.Die im Frankfurter Stadtteil Niederrad gelegene und 1983 erbaute Büroimmobilie verfügt über rund 28.000 Quadratmeter Fläche. Niederrad ist Frankfurts größtes Backoffice-Viertel. Es hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren stark von einem reinen Bürostandort zum Mischquartier mit hohem Wohnanteil gewandelt. Die Leerstandsquote ist seit 2016 um rund 30% gefallen. BlackRock hatte die Immobilie in seiner europäischen Value-add-Strategie geführt.
