Clifford Chance hires Emmanuel-Frédéric Henrion to join its top-ranked Investment Funds practice in Luxembourg
International law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Emmanuel-Frédéric Henrion as a partner in the firm's top-ranked Investment Funds practice in Luxembourg. This follows the firm's recent appointment of tax partner Geoffrey Scardoni.
Emmanuel-Frédéric, who joins today, was previously leader of Linklaters' Luxembourg asset management practice. He is a well-established figure in the public and private funds arena and a regular advisor to some key players in the sector, particularly in relation to UCITS, structured funds and derivatives.
Mark Shipman, Global Funds and Investment Management sector Partner, Clifford Chance, said: "Luxembourg is the second largest investment fund centre in the world, and its importance is steadily growing. Emmanuel-Frédéric is a valuable addition to our strong and diversified Investment Funds practice, and a key new team member as we look to significantly increase the scale of our Luxembourg operations."
Emmanuel-Frédéric adds: "I am excited to be joining a team and firm with such a strong reputation both locally and globally. I look forward to working with the rest of the team as we help our asset management clients to make the most of the challenges and opportunities that accelerating economic and regulatory shifts create."
