Clifford Chance advises Dietz AG on the sale of a distribution center in Peine

International law firm Clifford Chance has advised the project developer Dietz AG on the sale of a new distribution center in Peine for €81.6 million. The buyer was the UK-based logistics investor Tritax EuroBox plc, which acquired its first property in Germany by way of a share deal. Within the framework of the off-market transaction, Dietz AG acted as asset manager for Tritax EuroBox plc and will keep a smaller stake in the property.

The 92,500 square meter distribution center will be completed this months and leased to Action Logistics Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of non-food discount retailer Action BV, headquartered in the Netherlands and operating more than 1,200 stores in seven European countries.

The Clifford Chance team comprised partner Thomas Reischauer and senior associate Jörg Reinshagen (both Real Estate), partner Thorsten Sauerhering and counsel Dominik Engl (both Tax) as well as partner Jörg Rhiel (Corporate/M&A) and senior associate Moritz Petersen (Corporate, all Frankfurt).

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den Projektentwickler Dietz AG beim Verkauf eines neuen Verteilzentrums in Peine für 81,6 Millionen Euro beraten. Käufer war der britische Logistikinvestor Tritax EuroBox plc, der mit diesem Share Deal sein erstes Objekt in Deutschland erwarb. Die Dietz AG agierte im Rahmen der Off-Market-Transaktion als Assetmanager für Tritax EuroBox plc und wird weiterhin einen geringen Anteil am Objekt halten.

Diesen Monat wird das 92.500 Quadratmeter große Verteilzentrum fertiggestellt und an die Action Logistics Germany GmbH vermietet. Sie ist eine Tochtergesellschaft des Non-Food Discounters Action BV mit Sitz in den Niederlanden, der mehr als 1.200 Geschäfte in sieben europäischen Ländern betreibt.
