Digitalisation: Clifford Chance further expands its expertise
Clifford Chance LLP is making global investments in further enhancing its digital expertise and capabilities for the long term. The investments in this financial year go far beyond regular modernisation and servicing of the Firm's IT systems.

This year alone, Clifford Chance LLP has launched several global tech initiatives. To advise clients on legal issues relating to digital transformation in the business world, the Firm bundles the digital and technological expertise of around 400 lawyers, including partners of Clifford Chance Deutschland LLP from all practice areas, in a global Tech Group.
In addition, this summer, Clifford Chance LLP launched Clifford Chance Create – a global project bringing together staff, clients, pioneers and market players to develop ideas for legal services of the future – and Clifford Chance Applied Solutions – which bundles digital products and solutions for clients at an international level. Both of these initiatives develop innovative solutions for clients and provide software-based advisory tools such as CCDr@ft. In February 2018, Clifford Chance LLP already strengthened its global business operations by acquiring Carillion Advice Services, a Newcastle-based legal services provider well known for its LegalTech expertise.
Clifford Chance is presenting its LegalTech capacities and innovative advisory approaches as an executive partner and exhibitor at the Legal ®Evolution on 4 and 5 December 2018 in Darmstadt, often referred to in Germany as a “city of science”. A large number of visitors are expected from technology-minded corporate law departments, LegalTech providers, law firms and digitally savvy applicants in the legal sector.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance LLP investiert global nachhaltig in den weiteren Ausbau ihrer digitalen Kompetenz und Kapazitäten. Die Investitionen gehen in diesem Geschäftsjahr weit über den laufend anfallenden Modernisierungs- und Ersatzbedarf der operativen IT-Systeme hinaus.

Außerdem verfügt Clifford Chance LLP auf globaler Ebene seit Sommer dieses Jahres mit Clifford Chance Create – hier kommen Mitarbeiter, Mandanten, Vordenker und Marktakteure zusammen und entwickeln Ideen für zukunftsweisende Rechtsdienstleistungen – und Clifford Chance Applied Solutions – hier sind die digitalen Produkte und Lösungen für Mandanten gebündelt – über Einheiten, die für Mandanten innovative Lösungen entwickeln und softwarebasierte Beratungsinstrumente wie zum Beispiel CCDr@ft bereitstellen. Im Februar 2018 verstärkte sich Clifford Chance LLP global bereits mit Carillion Advice Services, einem Know-how starken Anbieter rechtsberatungsbezogener Legal Tech- und Serviceleistungen mit Sitz im britischen Newcastle.
Mit ihren Legal Tech-Kapazitäten und Beratungsansätzen präsentiert sich Clifford Chance auch als Executive Partner und Aussteller bei dem Kongress Legal ®Evolution am 4. und 5. Dezember 2018 in der Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt.
