Clifford Chance US Listed as a Qualified Advisor for the Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnership ("PPP") Authority

Clifford Chance US has been added to the list of Qualified Advisors for the Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnership ("PPP") Authority. This announcement reflects the continuing expansion of the Firm's foundational role in the establishment and development of PPP programs across Latin American regions.

Clifford Chance has advised private and governmental sponsors, developers, infrastructure and private equity funds, commercial banks, credit agencies and underwriters in connection with the development and financing of infrastructure projects in the Americas. The Firm's lawyers have drafted principal PPP frameworks and legislation that are currently being used internationally, advising on the regulatory framework for PPP in Paraguay, as well as on PPP projects across the region, including on market firsts, in Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

Clifford Chance is currently working with the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) in its role as advisor to the government of Argentina in relation to its new PPP program.

The Firm's core team working with the Government of Puerto Rico will be led by New York Banking & Finance partners Jay Gavigan and Gianluca Bacchiocchi and will include associates Leonela Vaccaro Padrón, Andrés Berry and Nicolas Rodriguez Gaziglia.
