Clifford Chance advises MERA Real Estate B.V. on the sale of the Gertrudiscenter in Bochum to ILG
A subsidiary of the Dutch company MERA Real Estate B.V. has sold the Gertrudiscenter in Bochum to ILG Capital GmbH, headquartered in Munich. ILG is acquiring the shopping centre for its open-ended special AIF "ILG Einkaufen Deutschland I". The vendor was advised by Clifford Chance.
The Gertrudiscenter is situated in a prime location in Bochum, directly adjacent to the market and the pedestrian zone as well as the Gertrudis square. The anchor tenants include Kaufland, Dirk Rossmann und Deichmann. The centre has a total lettable area of around 19,300 square metres, including around 13,300 square metres of retail space and a multi-storey car park with a total of 634 visitor parking spaces.

Eine Tochtergesellschaft der niederländischen MERA Real Estate B.V. hat das Gertrudiscenter in Bochum-Wattenscheid an die Münchner ILG Capital GmbH verkauft. ILG erwirbt das Einkaufszentrum für den als offenen Spezial-AIF konzipierten Fonds "ILG Einkaufen Deutschland I". Der Verkäufer wurde von der internationalen Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance rechtlich beraten.
Das Gertrudiscenter liegt in bester Innenstadtlage Wattenscheids, direkt angrenzend an den Markt und die Fußgängerzone sowie den Gertrudisplatz. Ankermieter des Einkaufszentrums sind unter anderem Kaufland, Dirk Rossmann und Deichmann. Das Gertrudiscenter umfasst eine Mietfläche von rund 19.300 Quadratmetern, darunter rund 13.300 Quadratmeter Einzelhandelsflächen und ein eigenes Parkhaus. Insgesamt stehen den Besuchern des Gertrudiscenter 634 PKW-Stellplätze zur Verfügung.
