Clifford Chance advises GETEC on the acquisition of URBANA
Clifford Chance has advised the German energy service provider GETEC WÄRME & EFFIZIENZ AG on its acquisition of URBANA Energiedienste GmbH.
The transaction is still subject to conditions, including clearance from the relevant antitrust authorities. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details of the purchase price.
URBANA is part of KALO Group and is an energy service provider for the real estate sector. Headquartered in Hamburg, it controls energy supplies to 100,000 homes and 600 municipal and commercial properties on the basis of a contracting model. The company's annual turnover is approximately EUR 65 million.
GETEC WÄRME & EFFIZIENZ AG develops energy service projects for the real estate sector, hospitals and other social care institutions, hotels and public properties. GETEC WÄRME & EFFIZIENZ AG belongs to GETEC GROUP, which offers a whole range of energy services in the liberalised energy market. Clifford Chance recently advised the EQT infrastructure fund on its majority investment in GETEC GROUP.

Clifford Chance berät GETEC beim Erwerb von URBANA
Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den deutschen Energiedienstleister GETEC WÄRME & EFFIZIENZ AG beim Erwerb der URBANA Energiedienste GmbH beraten.
Der Erwerb steht noch unter dem Vorbehalt von Bedingungen wie der kartellrechtlichen Freigabe und soll zeitnah vollzogen werden. Über den Kaufpreis wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart.
URBANA ist ein Unternehmen der KALO Unternehmensgruppe und als Energiedienstleister für die Immobilienwirtschaft tätig. Von der Hamburger Zentrale aus steuert das Unternehmen die Versorgung von 100.000 Wohnungen sowie 600 kommunaler und gewerblicher Objekte im Contracting. Das Unternehmen erwirtschaftet einen Umsatz von rund 65 Millionen Euro.
Die GETEC WÄRME & EFFIZIENZ AG entwickelt Energiedienstleistungsprojekte für die Immobilienwirtschaft, Krankenhäuser sowie soziale Einrichtungen, Hotels und öffentliche Liegenschaften. Clifford Chance hatte erst vor kurzem den Infrastrukturfonds von EQT beim Erwerb einer Mehrheitsbeteiligung an der GETEC GRUPPE beraten.
