Clifford Chance's Mark Shipman reappointed to Securities and Futures Commission Advisory Committee
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance is pleased to confirm that partner Mark Shipman, Global Head of Funds and Investment Management, has been reappointed to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)'s Advisory Committee for another two year term, effective 1 June 2017. Mark was first appointed in 2013.
Mark said, "I am excited about the work we have been doing on SFC's Advisory Committee and feel strongly about the importance of our discussions on key regulatory issues to ensure healthy and robust securities and futures markets. It is an honour to have been reappointed."
The Committee was established under section 7 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance to advise the SFC on policy matters regarding its regulatory objectives and functions.
