On 3 February 2017, the Public Procurement Law (PPL) Association was established. Piotr Bogdanowicz, PhD of Clifford Chance, is one of the founding members of the PPL Association and is who is treasurer and a member of the management board of the Association.
The aim of the PPL Association is to exchange and promote knowledge on public procurement law in the broad sense (covering also issues concerning PPP and concessions), and to take advantage of the best international models and promote the rules of professional ethics among persons dealing with this area of law. The Association is also to be a platform that will allow the legal community to actively participate in the public debate concerning the public procurement system and the practice of applying the relevant provisions.
Immediately after the PPL Association is registered, its authorities will take action to expand the circle of its membership by having recognized lawyers join whose well-established knowledge and experience will help create solutions that are to the advantage of all players on the public procurement market in Poland.

3 lutego 2017 zostało utworzone Stowarzyszenie Prawa Zamówień Publicznych (PZP). Członkiem założycielem Stowarzyszenia PZP jest między innymi Dr Piotr Bogdanowicz z kancelarii Clifford Chance, pełniący funkcję skarbnika i członka zarządu Stowarzyszenia.
Celem Stowarzyszenia PZP jest wymiana i upowszechnianie wiedzy z zakresu szeroko rozumianego prawa zamówień publicznych (obejmującego również zagadnienia dotyczące PPP oraz koncesji), w tym czerpanie z najlepszych wzorów międzynarodowych oraz promowanie zasad etyki zawodowej wśród osób zajmujących się tą dziedziną prawa. Stowarzyszenie ma być również platformą, która pozwoli na czynny udział środowiska prawników w debacie publicznej dotyczącej systemu zamówień publicznych oraz praktyki stosowania odpowiednich przepisów.
Niezwłocznie po rejestracji Stowarzyszenia PZP jego władze podejmą działania zmierzające do rozszerzenia grona jego członków o uznanych prawników, których ugruntowana wiedza i doświadczenie pomoże tworzyć rozwiązania sprzyjające wszystkim uczestnikom rynku zamówień publicznych w Polsce.
