Clifford Chance advises KfW IPEX-Bank on the financing of a 30.1 MWp PV- and 45.8 MWp wind projects portfolio in France
Clifford Chance advised KfW IPEX-Bank on the non-recourse financing of a 30.1 MWp PV- and 45.8 MWp Wind-Projects Portfolio in France, consisting of the four photovoltaic plants of the Cap Découverte project, the two wind plants of the Raucourt II project and the three wind plants of the Bussy-Lettrée project with NEOEN S.A.S. as project sponsor.
The total commitments under the nine facility agreements amount to a total volume of approximately EUR 104 million and the related credits have an up to 20 years-term. The finance structure includes KfW promotional loans, in particular under the KfW Program Renewable Energies (Program 270 and 274).
The sponsor NEOEN operates renewable energy projects in Europe, Africa, Australia and the Americas.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partners Dr. Dietrich F. R. Stiller (Banking & Capital Markets/Project Finance, Frankfurt) in Germany and Delphine Siino Courtin (Banking & Finance, Paris) in France. The German team comprised senior associates Lena Hefele, Tanja Gropp and Kheiber Asar as well as associate Matthias Kammermann (all Banking & Capital Markets/Project Finance, Frankfurt), while the French team comprised senior associate Kadiatou Ba, counsel Alhassane Barry and associate Victor Dominiak (all Banking & Finance, Paris).

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die KfW IPEX-Bank bei der Non-Recourse Finanzierung eines 30,1 MWp Photovoltaik- und eines 45,8 MWp Wind-Anlagen-Projektportfolios in Frankreich beraten. Das Portfolio besteht aus den vier Photovoltaik-Anlagen des Cap Découverte Projekts, den zwei Wind-Anlagen des Raucourt II Projekts und den drei Wind-Anlagen des Bussy-Lettrée Projekts. NEOEN S.A.S. ist der Projektträger.
Der Gesamtbetrag der neun Kreditverträge des Portfolios beläuft sich auf rund 104 Millionen Euro und die Laufzeit der Kredite beträgt bis zu 20 Jahre. Die Finanzierungsstruktur umfasst KfW Förderdarlehen des KfW-Programms Erneuerbare Energien (Programme 270 und 274).
Der Projektträger NEOEN betreibt Projekte im Bereich erneuerbare Energie in Europa, Afrika, Australien und Amerika.
