Jeroen Ouwehand appointed as new Office Managing Partner of Clifford Chance Amsterdam

International law firm Clifford Chance announces today that Jeroen Ouwehand (49) has been appointed as the new Amsterdam Office Managing Partner. His 4-year term started as from 1 November 2015. Jeroen succeeds Bas Boris Visser, who was appointed as Clifford Chance's Global Head of Innovation & Business Change earlier this year, alongside his banking & finance client work.

Jeroen Ouwehand: "I am excited about my new role as managing partner of Clifford Chance in Amsterdam. Clifford Chance is one of the leading international law firms with an unrivalled network and client base. We also have a fantastic and inclusive team of lawyers and business services professionals. I am really looking forward to working with all of them in managing the Amsterdam office. I truly cherish our culture in which entrepreneurialism and innovation is encouraged, and where there is a continuous focus on how we can deliver a better service to our clients every day. This is now more important than ever as, like many of our clients, we are facing significant change and disruption in our industry."

Besides his new role, Jeroen will remain active in servicing clients as the head of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practices of Clifford Chance in Amsterdam and in Continental Europe.

Jeroen started his career at Clifford Chance in 1992. He was appointed as a partner in 2000. He specializes in commercial, financial and corporate dispute resolution (both out of court, and in litigation and arbitration).
