Clifford Chance advises gabocom on refinancing existing loans
Clifford Chance has advised the gabocom Group on the refinancing and restructuring of its existing loans.
The gabocom Group is based in Germany and specialises in innovative microduct systems for telecommunications companies and network operators and has a distribution network spanning the whole of Europe. Findos Investor acquired gabocom in 2010 and has since remained its principal shareholder. gabocom experienced substantial growth between 2010 and 2015. The new EUR 70 million financing was provided by BlueBay and Berenberg in the form of a unitranche structure combining a super senior term loan facility and a super senior working capital facility.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partner Thomas Weitkamp and comprised associate Jennifer Seipelt (both Banking & Capital Markets, Munich) and partner Thorsten Sauerhering (Tax, Frankfurt).

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die gabocom Gruppe bei der Refinanzierung und Neustrukturierung der bestehenden Kredite beraten.
Die gabocom Gruppe mit Sitz in Niederwinkel hat sich auf innovative Mikrorohrsysteme für Telekommunikations-Gesellschaften und Netzbetreiber spezialisiert, die sie europaweit vertreibt. Findos Investor hatte die Gruppe im Jahr 2010 erworben und ist seitdem Hauptgesellschafter von gabocom. Das Unternehmen wuchs zwischen 2010 und 2015 beträchtlich. Die neue Finanzierung wurde durch BlueBay sowie die Berenberg Bank im Wege einer UniTranche Finanzierung verbunden mit einem Super Senior Laufzeitkredit sowie einer Super Senior Betriebsmittellinie in Höhe von insgesamt EUR 70 Mio. zur Verfügung gestellt.
