Clifford Chance advises China Construction Bank on the acquisition of a Frankfurt property
Clifford Chance has advised China Construction Bank on the acquisition of the Bockenheimer Landstraße 73-77 property in Frankfurt.
The property includes an office building constructed in 1962, with a gross external area (GEA) of around 6,800 square metres, and a residential property of about 1,000 sqare metres GEA built in 1996. The seller is Frankfurt Union GmbH.
After the acquisition, the interior of the office property will be completely refitted which also includes the installation of state-of-the-art building technology. Further, the building will be provided with a new natural stone façade that will increase the energy efficiency of the property. After completion of the refurbishment and renovation measures, China Construction Bank will move into around half of the office space.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die China Construction Bank beim Erwerb des Objekts Bockenheimer Landstraße 73-77 in Frankfurt beraten.
Das Ensemble besteht aus einem 1962 errichteten Bürogebäude mit rund 6.800 Quadratmetern Bruttogeschossfläche und einem 1996 erbauten Wohnhaus mit etwa 1.000 Quadratmetern Bruttogeschossfläche. Verkäufer ist die Frankfurt Union GmbH.
Nach dem Erwerb wird die Büroimmobilie mit einem völlig neuen Innenausbau versehen, der auch die Installation einer modernen Gebäudetechnik einschließt. Außerdem erhält das Gebäude eine neue Natursteinfassade, durch welche die Energieeffizienz der Immobilie erhöht wird. Nach der Fertigstellung der Umbau- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen wird die China Construction Bank etwa die Hälfte der Büroflächen selbst beziehen.
