Clifford Chance advises Perceva on the proposed acquisition of Premdor

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance advised Perceva, the independent French investment firm, on its binding offer coupled with exclusive arrangements with Masonite International Corporation (NYSE: DOOR), a leading global designer and manufacturer of interior and exterior doors, for the acquisition of its French subsidiary, Premdor S.A.S.

The transaction is subject to customary conditions including anti-trust approvals as well as consultations with employee representatives.

Headquartered in Bordeaux, Premdor S.A.S. and its subsidiaries manufacture and distribute doors, pre-hungs and frames to the commercial and residential markets. Premdor is a leader in the French market with 2014 turnover of approximately €100 million and more than 680 employees.
