Clifford Chance advises banking consortium on syndicated loan for automotive supplier Hella
Clifford Chance advised an international banking consortium on a syndicated loan for automotive supplier Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. ("Hella"), Lippstadt, Germany.
The loan amounts to EUR 450.000.000 Euro and has a five-year term with two options to extend it for one year.
The purpose of the loan is to serve the general funding of the company.
Hella is a listed family business with more than 30,000 employees working in more than 100 sites in over 35 countries. They develop and produce lighting and electronic components and systems for the automotive industry. With a turnover of approx. EUR 5.3 billion (financial year 2013/2014), Hella belongs to the top 50 global automotive suppliers.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat ein internationales Bankenkonsortium bei einem syndizierten Kredit für den Automobilzulieferer Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. ("Hella"), Lippstadt, beraten.
Der Kredit über 450,000,000 Euro hat eine Laufzeit von fünf Jahren mit zwei Verlängerungsoptionen für jeweils ein weiteres Jahr.
Der Kredit dient der allgemeinen Unternehmensfinanzierung.
Hella, ein börsennotiertes Familienunternehmen mit über 30.000 Beschäftigten an mehr als 100 Standorten in über 35 Ländern, entwickelt und fertigt Komponenten und Systeme der Lichttechnik und Elektronik für die Automobilindustrie. Mit einem Umsatz von rund 5,3 Milliarden Euro (Geschäftsjahr 2013/2014) gehört Hella zu den Top 50 der weltweiten Automobilzulieferer.
