Clifford Chance advises NWS Holdings on its acquisition of a 40% stake in Goshawk Aviation

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance advised NWS Holdings Limited (NWS) on its acquisition of a 40% stake in Goshawk Aviation for a total cash consideration of US$222.5 million. Goshawk is a joint venture with Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited and Investec Bank plc which is engaged in commercial aircraft leasing. It has a portfolio of 27 aircraft which are leased to various airlines across the world.

Partner Cherry Chan who led the deal said, "We were delighted to assist NWS on yet another investment into the aviation sector. In 2013, we advised on its investment into Beijing Capital International Airport."
