Clifford Chance advised Ferratum on its successful IPO and listing at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

Clifford Chance advised Ferratum Oyj in connection with its successful €110.8 million initial public offering and listing of its shares on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The Finnish Ferratum Group, a pioneer for mobile micro credits in Europe, offers short-term consumer loans. Ferratum’s customers can utilize digital media to apply for consumer credit in amounts varying between EUR 25 and EUR 2,000. Ferratum is operating in 20 countries worldwide and is among the first European FinTech companies which completed an IPO in Europe.

The IPO involved the sale of new shares of Ferratum and the sale of existing shares of Ferratum's shareholders. The order book was considerably oversubscribed and the offer price for the shares was fixed close to the upper end of the price range at €17.00 per share.

Clifford Chance advised with regard to the IPO and related matters and acted as international transaction counsel managing the transaction. Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat Ferratum Oyj bei ihrem 110,8 Millionen Euro IPO und der Notierungsaufnahme im Prime Standard der Frankfurt Wertpapierbörse beraten.

Die finnische Ferratum-Gruppe ist einer der führenden Anbieter von mobilen Verbraucherkrediten in Europa. Über Mobiltelefone und Internet können Kunden von Ferratum Verbraucherkredite in Höhe von 25 bis 2.000 Euro beantragen. Ferratum ist in 20 Ländern weltweit aktiv und gehört zu den ersten europäischen FinTech-Unternehmen, die einen IPO in Europa erfolgreich durchgeführt haben.

Der Börsengang bestand aus einem Angebot von neu ausgegebenen Aktien sowie dem Verkauf von bestehenden Aktien von Altaktionären. Das Orderbuch war deutlich überzeichnet. Der Angebotspreis für die Aktien wurde nahe dem oberen Ende der Preisspanne auf 17,00 Euro pro Aktie festgelegt.
