Clifford Chance advises banking consortium on syndicated credit facility for Brenntag AG
Clifford Chance advised an international banking syndicate on the extension of the term of its existing syndicated credit facility ahead of schedule and at more favourable terms for Brenntag AG. The volume of the credit facility amounts to EUR 855 million, USD 910 million, CHF 85 million and CAD 80 million. The term of the loan agreement was extended to another five years.
Brenntag is based in Mühlheim an der Ruhr and a global market leader in full-line chemical distribution. Linking chemical manufacturers and chemical users, Brenntag provides business-to-business distribution solutions for industrial and specialty chemicals globally. The company operates a global network with more than 480 locations in 70 countries. In 2013, the company realized global sales of EUR 9,8 billion with nearly 13,000 employees

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat ein internationales Bankenkonsortium bei der Verlängerung eines syndizierten Kredits zu verbesserten Konditionen für die Brenntag AG beraten. Das Volumen des Kredits beläuft sich auf 855 Millionen Euro, 910 Millionen US-Dollar, 85 Millionen Schweizer Franken und 80 Millionen Kanadische Dollar. Die Laufzeit des Kredits beträgt weitere fünf Jahre.
Brenntag mit Hauptsitz in Mülheim an der Ruhr ist Weltmarktführer in der Chemiedistribution. Das Unternehmen stellt das Bindeglied zwischen Chemieproduzenten und der weiterverarbeitenden Industrie dar. Die Gruppe betreibt rund 480 Standorte in über 70 Ländern und erzielte 2013 mit mehr als 13.000 Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von 9,8 Milliarden Euro.
