Clifford Chance advises iii-investments on its second deal in Asia
Having advised iii-investments, Munich (Germany), on its entry into the Asian real estate market, Clifford Chance now assisted iii-investments in acquiring four properties in central Tokyo. The investor is a German pension fund which has meanwhile invested more than EUR 100 million in the Asian real estate market (including the money it invested for the first deal).
The portfolio comprises 174 fully leased high-spec premises in central locations with a total floor space of nearly 8,500 m². Built in 2007, their modern construction means that they have been awarded the top rating in the Japanese earthquake classification system.
iii-investments is one of the leading investment companies for real estate special funds in Germany. The business includes the management and the administration of real estate funds and real estate loan funds on behalf of institutional investors.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hatte iii-investments, München, schon bei deren Eintritt in den asiatischen Immobilienmarkt beraten und unterstützte das Unternehmen nun beim Erwerb von vier Immobilien in zentraler Lage in Tokio. Der Investor ist ein deutscher Pensionsfonds, der damit mehr als 100 Millionen Euro in den asiatischen Immobilienmarkt investiert (einschließlich der Mittel, die im Rahmen der ersten Transaktion eingesetzt wurden).
Das Portfolio umfasst 174 vollständig vermietete Immobilien in Toplagen mit einer Gesamtfläche von fast 8.500 Quadratmetern. Diese wurden 2007 errichtet und sind dank modernster Bauweise in der höchsten Stufe der Erdbebensicherheit in Japan eingeordnet worden.
iii-investments ist eine der führenden Kapitalanlagegesellschaften für Immobilien-Spezialfonds in Deutschland. Die Geschäftstätigkeit umfasst sowohl das Management als auch die Administration von Immobilienfonds und Immobilien-Darlehensfonds für institutionelle Investoren.
