Clifford Chance advises CAF on joint venture to develop a nation-wide digital television network in Cambodia
Hong Kong: Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised China-ASEAN Investment Cooperation Fund (CAF) on its equity investment in International Communication Media Company Limited (ICMC), an offshore holding company with a view to ICMC establishing a joint venture with Supreme Cambo Investment Group Co., Ltd. to invest, build, and deploy the infrastructure for a nation-wide digital television network and to provide digital television services and other digital communication services thereon in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The other two co-investors in ICMC are Shenzhen Coship Electronics Co., Ltd. (a company whose shares are listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange) and Main Global Holdings Limited.
Hong Kong partner Neeraj Budhwani who led the deal said, "We are very pleased to assist CAF on this latest transaction and it is now the second transaction we have completed for them in Cambodia after having advised CAF in 2011 on its investment in Cambodia's Fiber Optic Network."
