Clifford Chance advises Gunvor on a $100 million Acquisition Facility to buy Petroplus' activities in Germany

Clifford Chance advised the Gunvor Group in relation to the US$ 100 million financing of the acquisition of Petroplus' oil refinery and marketing activities in Ingolstadt by Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and VTB Bank (Austria) AG.

The German companies of Gunvor Group, which have retained all of the more than 400 employees from Petroplus, serve the markets in Southern Germany und Upper Austria.

Gunvor Group is one of the world’s largest independent commodity trading companies by turnover, providing integrated trading products and logistics services for participants in the worldwide oil and energy markets. The company’s main trading offices are in Geneva, Singapore, Nassau and Dubai, with a network of representative offices around the globe.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die Gunvor Group bei der Finanzierung des Erwerbs der Ölraffinerie- und Marketing-Aktivitäten der Petroplus in Ingolstadt im Volumen von 100 Millionen US-Dollar durch die Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, und VTB Bank (Austria) AG beraten.

Die Deutschen Gesellschaften der Gunvor Group, die sämtliche der über 400 Mitarbeiter des  Geschäftsbereichs von Petroplus übernommen haben, bedienen die Märkte in Süddeutschland und in den nördlichen Regionen Österreichs.
