Clifford Chance advises American Tower Corporation on the acquisition of wireless communication sites from Germany subsidiary of Dutch mobile operator KPN
Clifford Chance advised American Tower Corporation on the acquisition of a wireless communication sites portfolio from German mobile operator E-Plus, a subsidiary of Dutch operator KPN. The purchase price is approx. EUR 393 million. In connection with this transaction, American Tower Corporation and E-Plus and have entered into a long-term lease agreement under which E-Plus leases back space on the communications towers which it requires for its antennae and network equipment.

American Tower Corporation is listed at the New York Stock Exchange and in Standard & Poor's 500. It has a market capitalization of almost USD 30bn.
