Clifford Chance advises Tristan Capital Partners and AEW Europe on the sale of a Karstadt real property in Frankfurt's centre
Clifford Chance advised EPI Fonds, which is co-managed by Tristan Capital Partners and AEW Europe, on the sale of a real property to Sahle group. The property is located in Frankfurt am Main's shopping area at Zeil 90 and let to retail store Karstadt.
In 2006, EPI Fonds had acquired the object in a joint venture with Frankfurt-based PBG (Christoph Gutmann/Lars Müller).
The retail property contains approx. 39,000 sqm on seven storeys. The term of the Karstadt lease runs for another 25 years.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den von Tristan Capital Partners und AEW Europe co-gemanagten EPI Fonds beim Verkauf der von Karstadt gemieteten Immobilie auf der Zeil 90 in Frankfurt am Main an die Unternehmensgruppe Sahle beraten.
Der EPI Fonds hatte das Objekt 2006 in einem Joint Venture mit der Frankfurter PBG (Christoph Gutmann/Lars Müller) übernommen.
Das Einzelhandelsobjekt umfasst etwa 39.000 Quadratmeter auf sieben Etagen. Der Mietvertrag mit Karstadt läuft noch rund 25 Jahre.
Das Beratungsteam von Clifford Chance bestand aus Partnerin Cornelia Thaler, Counsel Dr. Gerold M. Jaeger (beide Frankfurt) und Transaction Lawyer Katrin Rötering (Düsseldorf) – alle Real Estate.
