Clifford Chance advises Shell on its offer for Cove Energy

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance is advising Royal Dutch Shell on its bid of £1.2bn for Africa-focused Cove Energy. Shell is offering 220 pence a share for all the issued and to-be-issued share capital of Cove Energy through one if its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Shell Exploration and Production (XL) BV.
