Clifford Chance advises on the acquisition and financing of the "KölnTurm" and the neighbouring NH-Hotel in Cologne
Clifford Chance advised the joint venture of Art-Invest Real Estate and InfraRed European Active Real Estate Fund on the acquisition and financing of the "KölnTurm" high rise office building and the neighbouring NH-Hotel in Cologne's media park. This is one of the largest property transactions on the Cologne real property market this year.
The "KölnTurm" is the highest office building in Cologne, reaching a height of 148m. It has over 43 office floors with a lease area of approx. 27,000 sqm, whilst the four-star-hotel has approx. 220 rooms. Seller of the property is TIGNATO Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG KölnTurm MediaPark AG, a holding company of Eurohypo AG. Eurohypo AG also financed the purchase of the asset.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat ein Joint Venture aus Gesellschaften der Art-Invest Real Estate sowie dem InfraRed European Active Real Estate Fund beim Erwerb und der Finanzierung des Bürohochhauses "KölnTurm" sowie des benachbarten NH-Hotels im Kölner MediaPark beraten. Es handelt sich um eine der größten Immobilientransaktionen im Kölner Markt in diesem Jahr.
Der KölnTurm ist mit 148 Metern das höchste Bürogebäude in Köln. Er verfügt über 43 Stockwerke mit circa 27.000 Quadratmetern Mietfläche, das 4-Sterne-Hotel über rund 220 Zimmer. Verkäufer ist die TIGNATO Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG KölnTurm MediaPark KG, eine Beteiligungsgesellschaft der Eurohypo AG. Die Eurohypo AG finanzierte auch den Ankauf der Objekte.
